CYMO Plays at the Hollywood Bowl

The Claremont Young Musicians Orchestra (CYMO), founded in 1989, is a 90-member, advanced-level, full symphony orchestra comprised of musicians ages 12 to 20 who attend public and private schools in Southern California. Members are selected through an audition process in September for two full symphony orchestras, the CYMO and the Intermezzo Orchestra.

The Intermezzo Orchestra, founded in 1992, is an 80 member full symphony orchestra for the intermediate level orchestral player ages 9 to 17. The repetoire last season included original compositions such as Egmont Overture by Beethoven, Danse Macabre by Saint-Saens, John Henry by Copland, Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 by Grieg.
